I’m really surprised a website and an organization of this magnitude would take the President’s comment out of context. I challenge you to listen to what he said in its entirety. He stated, “…if you have a business, you didn’t build it buy yourself…someone gave you a loan, built a road or a bridge…you didn’t build that.” There are many small business who get help, whether its through the SBA (government program), tax credits or incentives, a rail spur or road built, loan for machinery, the truth is, it may be your idea and hard work, but we don’t build businesses by ourselves.
